The Four Elements of Executive Presence

In one of our Tailored Consulting workshops, we spend a full day talking about four elements that help a leader find their own version of Executive Presence.

1) Self-Awareness

2) Situational Awareness

3) Communication

4) Executive Mindset

Strengths-Based Development was the foundation for the day, informing the entire Self-Awareness section and some of the other sections. It was evident that this was the highlight of the day for most of the leaders. All of the leaders in attendance took the CliftonStrengths assessment before the workshop. Then we spent the rest of the time challenging the idea that a good leader conforms to the traditional definition of "Executive Presence."

Every leader can be inspirational, influential, communicative, empowering, and all of the other things we associate with Executive Presence. The goal is to figure out how to accomplish those things with the unique, God-given gifts and talents at every leader's disposal.

Executive Presence is easier when you're not trying to do it someone else's way.
